Bacteria Genomic DNA Extraction Kit

Bacterial Genomic DNA Extraction Kit

Product Introduction

The Takegene® Bacterial Genomic DNA Extraction Kit is suitable for extracting high-purity genomic DNA from Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, and fungi. The kit uses a unique reagent formulation and specially manufactured solid-phase adsorption media. Under the action of the proprietary buffer system, DNA is rapidly released from various samples and adsorbed onto the high-performance solid-phase matrix; after elution, high-purity genomic DNA is obtained. Product testing demonstrates that the extracted DNA exceeds the purity and yield of internationally renowned brands. The product is available in three formats: micro, mini, and 96-well plate. The micro kit features a specially designed spin column that can concentrate samples 10–20 fold, with a minimum elution volume of 5 µL. The sample is highly concentrated, making it particularly suitable for extracting trace amounts of DNA from tissue.

Product Features

  • Fast and easy — all steps can be performed at room temperature, and the entire extraction process takes only half an hour.
  • High-quality DNA — the OD260/OD280 ratio of the product DNA is around 1.8, with virtually no degradation.
  • Environmentally friendly and safe — avoids operator exposure to hazardous chemicals such as phenol and chloroform.
  • The Takegene® Bacterial Genomic DNA Extraction Kit makes it extremely easy to obtain high-purity, high-yield genomic DNA from Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
  • The obtained genomic DNA is suitable for any molecular biology application.

Storage Conditions

  • Except Proteinase K (dry powder) and RNase A (solid), which should be stored at 2°C–8°C, all other reagents may be stored at temperatures from −40°C to 40°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 75%, in a dark place free from corrosive gases.
  • Kit shelf life: 12 months.
