Nucleic Acid Extraction or Purification Reagent (Zhejiang Medical Device Filing No. 20150181)

Product Introduction

Used for the extraction, enrichment, and purification of cell-free DNA from samples. The purified product is intended for clinical in vitro diagnostic use. Under the action of the buffer system, cell-free DNA is rapidly released from clinical samples, adsorbed onto the high-performance solid-phase matrix, and high-purity nucleic acid is obtained after elution.

Storage Conditions & Shelf Life

  • Proteinase K should be stored at 2–8°C for long-term storage. The remaining components may be stored at ambient temperatures from −40°C to 40°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 75%, in a dark place free from corrosive gases.
  • Shelf life: 24 months.

Required Equipment

Centrifuge, water bath. The YL-MiniPlus model kit additionally requires a vacuum aspiration device.

Product Features

  • Uses a spin column format capable of processing 1–4 mL of plasma per extraction, ensuring sufficient DNA yield for downstream sequencing.
  • Elution volume as low as 10 µL with high final concentration, greatly improving downstream workflow efficiency.
  • High DNA extraction efficiency — recovery rate of fragments above 100 bp exceeds 80%.
  • High-purity extracted DNA suitable for direct downstream applications such as sequencing library construction and qPCR.

Comparison of cell-free DNA extraction results using different methods

Note: Clinical anticoagulated blood samples stored at 4°C for one week were used. The upper plasma layer was collected after mixing, centrifuged at 4000 RPM for 10 minutes, and the supernatant was taken. Cell-free DNA concentration was relatively high due to the extended storage time.

DNA recovery gel electrophoresis results

Lanes 1 and 2 show the recovery results after adding 15 µL DNA Marker to 2 mL plasma for extraction. Lanes 3 and 4 show 15 µL DNA Marker directly electrophoresed. Comparison of band intensities indicates recovery rate > 80%.
