Product Introduction
The Takegene® FFPE Tissue DNA Extraction Kit is suitable for extracting total DNA from paraffin sections, paraffin blocks, formalin-fixed tissues, and other sample types. Samples can be directly extracted without deparaffinization, greatly facilitating the user. The kit uses a unique reagent formulation and specially manufactured solid-phase adsorption media. Under the action of the proprietary buffer system, DNA is rapidly released from tissues and adsorbed onto the high-performance solid-phase matrix; after elution, high-purity DNA is obtained.

- Short processing time — eliminating the deparaffinization step saves at least half the time, with no exposure to organic solvents.
- High extraction efficiency — recovery rate of fragments above 100 bp exceeds 75%.

- Excellent DNA integrity — without the organic solvent deparaffinization process, DNA integrity is well preserved with longer fragments.
Storage Conditions
- Except Proteinase K (dry powder) and RNase A (solid), which should be stored at 2°C–8°C, all other reagents may be stored at room temperature for extended periods.
- Kit shelf life: 12 months.
