Product Introduction
The Takegene® Ultra-Low Endotoxin Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit is an upgraded version of the standard plasmid extraction kit. Its main advantage is that it yields a plasmid solution that is virtually free of endotoxins. The resulting plasmid has high purity and consistent quality, making it particularly suitable for cell transfection, as well as for downstream applications such as DNA sequencing, PCR, PCR-based mutagenesis, in vitro transcription, bacterial transformation, and restriction enzyme digestion.

- Easy and time-saving — all steps are performed at room temperature.
- High yield — the specialized adsorption medium and buffer system greatly improve DNA binding affinity, enabling 5–10 µg DNA to be extracted from 2 mL of LB bacterial culture.
- High purity — endotoxin content as low as below 0.1 EU/µg, with no guanidine salt residues and no ion-exchange resin shedding residues.
- Ultra-large capacity — mini preps yield up to 50 µg of plasmid, and maxi preps yield up to 2.5 mg of plasmid.
- Improved downstream efficiency — the absence of guanidine salts and resin residues in the product DNA enhances sequencing, ligation, transformation, and enzymatic reaction efficiency.
- Environmentally friendly and safe — the kit contains no chemicals that are harmful to health or that pollute the environment.
Storage Conditions
- Solution PA with added RNase A must be stored at 2°C–8°C. The kit should be stored at temperatures from −40°C to 40°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 75%, in a dark place free from corrosive gases.
- Kit shelf life: 12 months.
