Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit

Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit

Product Introduction

The Takegene® Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit is suitable for rapid extraction and purification of plasmid DNA from E. coli. The kit uses a guanidine-free nucleic acid purification patented technology with high-efficiency silica gel adsorption columns as the adsorption medium. Under high-salt conditions, plasmid DNA selectively binds to the silica membrane; after washing to remove residual impurities on the membrane, the plasmid is eluted with TE buffer. The purified plasmid is suitable for sequencing, enzyme modification, in vitro transcription and translation, bacterial transformation, and other molecular biology experiments. The kit does not use guanidine salts or any other toxic organic solvents. The product has no guanidine residue and no other toxic organic solvents, with purity far exceeding market alternatives, significantly improving the efficiency of downstream molecular biology experiments such as enzyme digestion, sequencing, PCR, and transformation. The Takegene® maxi plasmid extraction kit can rapidly extract up to 2.5 mg of high-purity plasmid DNA within 30–40 minutes. The mega-scale plasmid extraction kit uses a specially designed patented funnel structure requiring no centrifugation and can extract up to 8 mg of high-purity plasmid DNA within 1.5–2 hours.
